John Whittow

John Whittow is the author of more than a dozen books. He has taught at Universities in England, Ireland, East Africa, California and Australia and was formerly Chairman of the Landscape Research Group in London and of the School of Earth Sciences in the University of Reading. He has advised the National Trust, the Forestry Commission, Buckinghamshire County Council and the Institution of Civil Engineers on environmental issues.
