The Lonely and The Brave
Roger Dobinson, a younger son of an English landed family, moved to Western Australia with his two young sons and his sister-in-law after his wife’s death. They settled in an abandoned settlement on the south coast. Meanwhile, four rebellious sailors, after being punished on a whaling ship, landed near the same settlement in search of food and water. Their paths eventually crossed in this isolated and challenging environment.
