About The Author

Fran Mulvey

Fran Mulvey

Poet and author of the InSea novels. Born in Ireland of Irish and Welsh heritage. A real Celt at heart, a seanchi ( SHAN-ə-khee,), bearer of old lore with their roots in the traditional poets attached the households of ancient Gaelic nobility.

I have written poetry as a commentary on life for as long as I can remember. It was often dark. While others saw a pretty red robin on a Christmas card, I saw the Genghis Kahn of the avian world cutting a swath through his enemies on the field of battle.

As a child I always want to be a librarian because I was an avid reader and loved the smell of old books. Each book was a whole new world just waiting to you to discover. Like we collect experience and grow, books seem to absorb both smells and energies till they become more than the whole. I would often find myself in the Lspace of an old bookshop, lost in a universe of dreams made manifest by the words that brought them forth.

Instead, my path has led me to create my own world, InSea, and Aerwyna and the characters have shared this journey with me.

Words are important, they are how we share our reality with others. Choose them carefully because the words that we create, in themselves recreate reality.

Jenny Ringo, a brave young rat, sets out to prove her courage by stealing a red bow from Kenny, a fierce tabby cat. Armed with wit and determination, she faces danger, outsmarts her foe, and earns the admiration of her family and friends.

Fran Mulvey’s vivid storytelling and illustrations bring Jenny’s daring adventure to life in this thrilling second installment of the Kitty Kat Kollection.
