Downhearted and directionless after his girlfriend leaves him, Jake Readman travels to a remote Greek island to heal his heartache.
His life takes an unexpected turn when he encounters a fellow traveller who shows him a book of cryptic questions. As he puzzles over their meaning, he begins to doubt everything he believes about love, happiness and the forces that shape his life. Before long he is drawn into a search for the mysterious guru figure who wrote the book. But the more answers he seeks, the more questions he finds.
